Cannibal Corpse is an American death metal band formed in Buffalo, New York in 1988. Coming to Glasgow’s Barrowland on 26th September 2024.
Despite being repeatedly targeted by the US morality lobby. Being banned in Australia, New Zealand and Korea. As well as being banned from performing any material off their first three albums in Germany. (where their album Butchered At Birth is outlawed completely!) Cannibal Corpse have accomplished a lot!
They appeared in the blockbuster film Ace Venture: Pet Detective, debuted as the only death metal band to rank on the Billboard Top 200 Album chart, tour the globe routinely and have sold millions of records – all of this with no commercial radio airplay or exposure from MTV, save the periodic obligatory controversial news segment.
