Janet Jackson

Janet Jackson is an R&B and pop singer who has sold more than 100 million records worldwide. As well as having won five GRAMMYs.

As the 10th child of the famous Jackson family, the superstar began recording her own music in the early 1980s. She broke out with the release of her third studio album, 1986’s GRAMMY-nominated Control.

The album and its socially conscious follow-up, 1989’s Janet Jackson’s Rhythm Nation 1814, established Jackson’s long collaboration with producers Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis. Whilst helping to pioneer the new jack swing genre. Smash albums like 1993’s Janet, 1997’sThe Velvet Ropeand 2001’s GRAMMY-nominated All For Youfollowed, with Jackson amassing 10 No. 1 singles to her name.

Jackson continued releasing music into the 2000s and earned another Top 20 hit with 2007’s “Feedback.” Her 2015 album,Unbreakable, peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and in 2022, she starred in JANET JACKSON., the first documentary series about her life, career and legacy.

In April 2024, Jackson announced UK shows in Birmingham, London, Glasgow and Manchester for September and October as part of her Together Again European tour.
