Quilting and Patchwork: Halloween Ghost

This class is a super exciting opportunity to really delve into the world of patchwork patterns with the quilting and Patchwork: Halloween Ghost. Coming to Glasgow’s Sew Confident on 5th October 2024.
We aim to demystify using a pattern and show you how to use a block to the most of its creative potential! You’ll be using the Ghost Quilt pattern from ‘Then came June’ to teach you how to follow a quilting pattern to create a repeating block!
By the end of the day you’ll know how to:
- Read a quilting pattern
- Create half square triangles
- Learn to create and use a block
In class you should have time to complete at least one blocks and then either finish your Halloween quilt at home or turn it into a cushion or wall hanging! This class is ideal for those who’ve been along to our Beginners Quilting Classes or our Intro to Quilting! We’re ready to take your quilting to the next level!
What to bring:
- Then Came June Ghost PDF Pattern
- Fabric
- Basic sewing kit(scissors, pins, unpick)
This class is suitable for those who have completed our beginners sewing course or who have a few sewing projects under their belt already. It is not suitable for those who are brand new to sewing. If this is you you can jump on our Beginners Sewing Class first!
