The UK Amateur Premiere of Les Misérables “Let The People Sing” is celebrating the 40th anniversary of the worldwide phenomenon. Coming to Glasgow’s King’s Theatre from 23-27th April 2025.

Let The People Sing is a UK-wide amateur theatre project celebrating the 40th anniversary of the worldwide phenomenon, Les Misérables. The project will see 11 community-wide productions of Les Misérables mounted across the UK. With the Glasgow performances at The King’s in April 2025.

In collaboration with Pantheon Theatre Glasgow, Glasgow Light Opera Club (GLOC), PMOS, and Theatre South Productions (TSP). As well as The Lyric Club is thrilled to present Boublil & Schönberg’s legendary musical, ‘Les Misérables’. As part of the nationwide ‘Let The People Sing’ project celebrating 40 years of the iconic show.

Based on Victor Hugo’s timeless novel. Les Misérables tells a powerful story of love, redemption, and revolution, set against the turmoil of post-revolutionary France. The musical has captivated audiences worldwide with its unforgettable characters, from Jean Valjean to Javert. Not forgetting the iconic songs like ‘I Dreamed a Dream‘, ‘One Day More‘, and ‘Do You Hear the People Sing‘.

Marking four decades of unforgettable performances, this special amateur production at The King’s Theatre brings to life the magic, passion, and humanity of one of the world’s most beloved musicals. Experience the power and beauty of Les Misérables in a performance that will move and inspire.

Tickets are on sale now for The UK Amateur Premiere of Les Misérables “Let The People Sing” and will start at £18.70 for the cheapest seats and go up to £40.70 for the most expensive.
