Beady Eye

3rd & 4th March 2011

Location:  Barrowlands

Tickets:  £30.25

Beady Eye have announced 2 nights in the Glasgow Barrowlands as part of their upcoming UK tour in March.

Consisting of Liam Gallagher, Gem Archer, Andy Bell and Chris Sharrock, Beady Eye were formed in 2009.

Until summer 2009, the four of them, plus Gallagher’s older brother Noel, made up Oasis, the biggest British rock’n’roll band of their generation.  But on the 28th of August 2009, shortly before Oasis were due to perform at a Paris festival, Noel decided he’d had enough.

But the rest of them decided to continue as a band, and Beady Eye were born.

The band’s first album, ‘Different Gear, Still Speeding’, was recorded in London at RAK studios in autumn 2010 and produced by Steve Lillywhite.  It is due for release on the 28th February 2011.

Beady Eye will be playing the Isle of Wight Festival in June 2011, where they will be special guests to the headline act Kasabian.  They have  also announced a short promotional tour of the UK and Europe in March 2011, which will feature 2 nights in the Glasgow Barrowlands.  Tickets will sell out for this event, so make sure you don’t miss out!
