Bookbug
Bookbug events are free, friendly and fun-filled 30 minute sessions for parents and carers to enjoy with babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers involving song, stories and rhymes.
Bookbug is back at selected Glasgow libraries.
These sessions are all about introducing new parents/guardians and their child to Bookbug, with a capped age range of 0-18 months, focusing on lockdown babies/isolated parents, one parent/guardian per child. No advance booking required, first come first served. The Scottish Government currently recommends that masks still be worn in crowded spaces however masks are not required when participating in Bookbug sessions.
These sessions will be reviewed with the hopes to introduce more sessions and increase the age ranges soon.
