Gavin DeGraw is a Country and blue-eyed soul singer writing about his Catskills upbringing. Coming to Glasgow’s O2 Academy on 31st October 2024.

Gavin DeGraw might have cut his teeth on the New York City bar scene, but it’s his childhood in the Catskills that has come to truly define him as an artist, pulling from his own nostalgia and the stories of his parents across his discography. In 2003, five years out of the prestigious Berklee College of Music, DeGraw released his debut album, Chariot, a record that would change his life thanks to the success of its eighth track, ‘I Don’t Want To Be’, which became the theme song of One Tree Hill. The popularity of One Tree Hill sent DeGraw into the mainstream, with ‘I Don’t Want To Be’ selling over a million copies.

DeGraw saw further success with Gavin DeGraw and Free, in 2008 and 2009 respectively. Following his highly collaborative fourth album, Sweeter, he recorded a duet with Colbie Caillat (‘We Both Know’) for the Safe Haven soundtrack – a song which earned both artists a GRAMMY nomination. In 2013, DeGraw released Make A Move, his fifth studio album, and supported the band Train on their US tour. The following year, he opened for Billy Joel and released a greatest hits album entitled Finest Hour: The Best of Gavin DeGraw. DeGraw’s sixth studio album, Something Worth Saving, arrived in 2016.

In May of 2022, DeGraw released Face The River, his seventh studio album. The title track, like much of the album, is a tribute to his late parents. In late 2023, he released his first Christmas EP, A Classic Christmas.
