The Glasgow Cathedral Choral Society are back with their annual Christmas Concert. Coming to Glasgow’s Cathedral on 17th December 2022.
Our Christmas Concert takes place in Glasgow Cathedral on Saturday 17 December 2022, with Peter Shepherd, GCCS Director of Music and Andrew Forbes on the Organ.
The concert features traditional carols for all to participate in and also features:
- Bach – Christmas Oratorio (selected items)
- Vaughan Williams – Fantasia on Christmas Carols
- Lauridsen – O Magnum Mysterium
Glasgow Cathedral Choral Society’s Christmas Concert is this year selected movements from JS Bach’s Christmas Oratorio and R Vaughan Williams’ Fantasia on Christmas Carols, as well as our traditional selection of carols for all. Welcoming Peter Shepherd to the podium, we will be accompanied on the organ by Andrew Forbes, with soloists Colin Murray, Baritone and Alto, tbc.
