Whether you walk, jog or run the 5k you can go at your own pace and enjoy a great day out.  There are over 230 Race for Life events taking place all over the UK this summer with the Glasgow Race for Life taking place at Glasgow Green on the 22nd of May this  year.

Take part

You are invited to do something amazing, and take part in Race for Life 2015 in Glasgow.  Entry costs £14.99 per person.  This covers the cost of organising and running your event on the day, which means that the sponsorship money you raise will go directly towards the work of Cancer Research UK into the prevention, treatment and cure of all forms of cancer.

I took part today in my first ever Race for Life 6th June 2010 in Glasgow with my friend Laura(who has done Race for Life last year).I was very much in a humble postion today to be with so many women and children who have their lifes affected by cancer. Having had friends this year who are having their own battles with breast and bowl cancer, walking the 5k was very exciting and really enjoyed talking part, walking or running for Cancer Research UK, sponsorship money will be greatfully received and used to hopefully one day find a cure, finally.

Thank you Race for Life, Thank you Cancer Research UK for all your very hard work, looking forward to next year.
