BRIT nominated DJ/producer Nathan Dawe is one of the UK’s biggest breakout dance acts of the last five years. Buoyed by a huge fan base in Birmingham and the Midlands, Nathan’s regional pull has started to transmit nationwide via a series of standout UK Top 20 singles.

His breakout record, ‘Flowers’ ft. Birmingham rapper Jaykae –a fresh twist on the UK Garage classic — spent 11 weeks inside the UK Top 20 in early 2020, peaking at No.12 and was later certified as his first ever Platinum single. He followed it up with the anthemic, Platinum-selling ‘Lighter’ ft. KSI in the summer of 2020, which entered the UK Singles Chart at No.4 on release, later peaking at No.3, to land as one of the biggest singles of 2020 –a sentiment compounded by its nomination for Best British Single at the 2021 BRIT Awards. ‘No Time For Tears’ featuring Little Mix landed as Nathan’s third UK Top 20 in 2021 – a collaboration that cemented his reputation as a producer with the world at his feet –before teaming up with Anne-Marie and MoStack on the euphoric UK Top 40 single ‘Way Too Long’ and later fellow producer T. Matthias on ‘Goodbye’.

His first single

His first single of 2022 – the anthemic ’21 Reasons’ ft. Ella Henderson – has spent over four months on the UK Singles Chart already, so far peaking at No.9 to land Nathan a second UK Top 10 and fourth UK Top 20 record; and arguably one of the songs of the summer. If that wasn’t enough, Nathan has also earned a host of different accolades over the last three years. In January 2021, he was crowned MTV’s Push Artist for 2021 for example, holding off competition from the likes of Griff, Arlo Parks and Pa Salieu, and was later also made an official ambassador of Aston Villa FC’s Academy – the football team he’s supported since he was a boy.

Nathan held down his debut residency at Ibiza Rocks in summer 2021, returning through 2022 and 2023 alongside appearances at Creamfields, We Are FSTVL, Pierjam, Bassfest and Boardmasters and a host of bustling club dates across Europe.
