The Enemy are back with their latest tour alongside special guests The Subways and The Holloways. Coming to Glasgow’s O2 Academy on 5th October 2024.

Way back in 2006, trendy kids around the world were immersing themselves in something called NU-rave. The tidal wave of indie that had flooded the nation was starting to show signs of receding. From seemingly nowhere, three very young musicians from Coventry emerged calling themselves The Enemy. With that, drawing on the classic, from The Clash to The Jam.

While just teenagers, Tom Clarke (vocals, guitar), Andy Hopkins (bass) and Liam Watts (drums) formed The Enemy. They immediately set about writing a considerable body of work and delivering incendiary live performances. Off the back of these, they signed to the recently reopened Stiff Records. Releasing their debut single for the label, 40 Days And 40 Nights, in November 2006.

The Enemy moved to Warner for their debut album We’ll Live And Die In These Towns, which went to No.1 in the UK album charts. Music For The People followed in 2009, which traced its predecessor’s footsteps into the Top 10.

It took three years for the band to return with their third album, 2012’s Streets In The Sky. The Enemy split up in 2016 but reformed five years later for a reunion gig in their native Coventry.
